mcp.tc brand kit
================

mcp.tc gives every MCP server a link you can guess, like mcp.tc/i/notion:
a page with the server's tools and one-click setup that connects your
client straight to the server. This kit has the mcp.tc logo and the rules
for using it. The same guide, with pictures:

FILES
-----
svg/ Vector masters. Use these whenever you can. 1 unit = 1 px: the mark
       is 32 x 32, the lockup 115 x 32.
png/ Transparent PNGs, trimmed to the artwork: add the clear space
       yourself.

lockup The mark and the "mcp.tc" wordmark side by side. Use this one first.
stacked The mark above the wordmark, for square or narrow spaces.
mark The rounded square alone, with the symbol cut out so the
background shows through. For small spaces on a plain background.
tile The mark with the symbol filled in (white on the black tile,
black on the white one). For favicons, photos and busy
          backgrounds.
avatar A full square with the symbol alone, for profile pictures and
app icons that get cropped to a circle or a rounded square.
black Ink #0A0A0A, for light backgrounds.
white Paper #FFFFFF, for dark backgrounds.
(no color in the name) currentColor: on a web page it takes the text
          color; elsewhere it shows black.

PNG sizes: mark 64-1024 px, tile and avatar 512 and 1024 px, lockup
230x64, 460x128 and 920x256 px, stacked 140x120, 280x240 and 560x480 px.

USING THE LOGO
--------------
Clear space Keep at least X free on every side. X is the side of the
square full stop in the mark: 3/8 of the mark's height
              (12 px for a 32 px mark, 24 px for a 64 px lockup).
Minimum size Mark: 16 px tall on screen, 5 mm in print.
Lockup: 72 px wide on screen (20 px tall), 20 mm wide in
              print.
Below that, use the mark alone.
Sharpest On screen, at multiples of 16 px (16, 32, 48, 64 ...): every
edge of the symbol then lands on a whole pixel.
Backgrounds Black on light backgrounds, white on dark ones, the tile on
              photos and busy backgrounds.

Please don't recolor it, stretch or rotate it, add shadows, outlines or
gradients, move or re-space the speed trails, put it on a background
without enough contrast, set the wordmark in another font, or add words
to the lockup.

NAME
----
Write mcp.tc in lower case, with the dot, even at the start of a sentence.
Not MCP.TC, Mcp.tc, MCP.tc, MCP TC, mcp .tc or mcptc.
Each listing has a link like mcp.tc/i/notion (add https:// when people
will copy it). Call it a link. Say "quick link" only to tell it apart
from a server's own URL. The link opens the server's page; clients
connect to the server's own URL. Don't call mcp.tc a proxy or say it
redirects.

One line:
  mcp.tc: MCP servers, properly addressed.

Short description:
mcp.tc is a directory of MCP servers. Every server gets a link, like
mcp.tc/i/deepwiki, to a page with its tools and one-click setup for
Claude, Cursor or VS Code that connects straight to the server.

Long description:
mcp.tc is a free directory of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.
Every listing gets its own link, such as mcp.tc/i/notion, which opens a
page with the server's tools and setup steps for Claude, Cursor, VS Code
and other clients. The setup connects your client straight to the
server's own URL or package, and sign-ins and API keys never pass
through mcp.tc. mcp.tc isn't affiliated with the servers it lists.
