## About

iMCP is a macOS app that bundles an MCP server for personal data on your Mac. It covers Calendar, Contacts, Location, Maps, Messages, Phone call history, Reminders, Shortcuts and Weather, so an assistant can look up events, search contacts, read message history, create reminders and get directions.

It runs locally. The app provides a menu bar UI where you enable each service and grant the matching macOS permission, and it bundles an imcp-server executable that clients start over stdio. No API key is needed. Requires macOS 15.3 or later. The app does not store your data, but the connected client sends tool results to its model.

- View and create calendar events with recurrence and alarms
- Search contacts by name, phone number or email
- Read message history with specific participants and date ranges
- View and create reminders with due dates and priorities
- Search places, get directions and estimate travel time
- Convert between addresses and coordinates
- View call history synced from your iPhone
- List and run Shortcuts, and check current weather
