Topos
Server MCP di Krv-Labs
Measure complexity, coupling, risky data flows and agent cognitive load in code, and get concrete targets from SLOP to PLATINUM.
Installa Topos

mcp.tc/i/toposDescrizione
Topos analyzes program structure and gives coding agents a quality signal they can act on. Each file gets four verdicts: Simple, Composable, Secure and Navigable. These roll up into a medal from SLOP to PLATINUM, with failure locations and next actions. It supports Python, Rust, JavaScript, TypeScript, C++ and Go.
It runs locally as a stdio server, installed with uvx topos-mcp from PyPI. The package bundles a Rust binary, and analysis runs on your machine without sending source code to an external model. No API key is needed. The composability score uses a dependency graph that requires gitnexus installed through npm. A separate topos CLI can register the server with supported agents such as Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code.
Cosa puoi fare
- Score files on simplicity, composability, security and navigability
- Get a SLOP to PLATINUM quality medal per file
- Find the worst structural problems in a repository
- Verify whether an edit is a real improvement
- Detect risky data flows and dangerous API reachability
- Analyze Python, Rust, JavaScript, TypeScript, C++ and Go
Tool
Use Topos to find this repository's worst structural problem and fix it.
Evaluate the src folder and tell me which files score SLOP.
Refactor this module, then verify with Topos that its score improved.
Which files in this project have risky data flows?
Configurazione
claude mcp add --transport stdio topos -- uvx topos-mcp- Avvia Claude Code e digita
/mcp. topos dovrebbe risultare collegato.
Aggiungi --scope user per renderlo disponibile in tutti i progetti.
Claude Desktop
- Apri Settings → Developer → Edit Config. Si apre
claude_desktop_config.json. Aggiungi:
{
"mcpServers": {
"topos": {
"command": "uvx",
"args": [
"topos-mcp"
]
}
}
{
"mcpServers": {
"topos": {
"command": "uvx",
"args": [
"topos-mcp"
]
}
}
}Richiede uv (Python) sul tuo computer.
VS Code
{
"servers": {
"topos": {
"type": "stdio",
"command": "uvx",
"args": [
"topos-mcp"
]
}
}
}Richiede uv (Python) sul tuo computer.
Devin Desktop
- Aggiungilo a
~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json(macOS e Linux) o a%APPDATA%\devin\mcp_config.json(Windows):
{
"mcpServers": {
"topos": {
"command": "uvx",
"args": [
"topos-mcp"
]
}
}
Codex
codex mcp add topos -- uvx topos-mcpOppure modifica direttamente ~/.codex/config.toml:
[mcp_servers.topos]
command = "uvx"
args = ["topos-mcp"]Richiede uv (Python) sul tuo computer.
Gemini CLI
{
"mcpServers": {
"topos": {
"command": "uvx",
"args": [
"topos-mcp"
]
}
}

No. Non dichiara chiavi né variabili d’ambiente. Gira con i permessi del tuo account utente, quindi controlla cosa possono raggiungere i suoi tool.
Topos è un server remoto o locale?
Locale.
Quali client possono usarlo?
