Weights & Biases

Server MCP di Weights & Biases (CoreWeave)

Query W&B experiments, runs, Weave traces and evaluations, and create reports using natural language.

Collegati a Weights & Biases

https://mcp.withwandb.com/mcp

mcp.tc/i/wandb

Descrizione

Connects an assistant to Weights & Biases Models and Weave. You can query projects and runs, read bounded run history, compare and diagnose runs, analyze Weave traces, summarize evaluations, browse registries and artifacts, search the W&B docs, and create reports.

The server is available as a hosted streamable HTTP endpoint at mcp.withwandb.com and as an open-source project (MIT). It needs a W&B API key sent as a Bearer token in the Authorization header. A read-only mode omits the tools that write data.

Cosa puoi fare

  • Query runs, configs and summaries in W&B projects
  • Fetch bounded time-series history for multiple metrics
  • Compare and diagnose training runs
  • Query, count and analyze Weave traces
  • Summarize evaluation results
  • Browse registries and compare artifact versions
  • Create W&B reports with charts and markdown
  • Search the official W&B documentation

Tool

  • Show me the top 5 runs by eval/accuracy in my-team/my-project.

  • Look at the last 100 traces in my project and explain the most common failures.

  • Create a W&B report comparing these three training runs.

  • Why did run abc123 diverge?

Configurazione

Ogni client si collega a mcp.withwandb.com.

claude mcp add --transport http wandb https://mcp.withwandb.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY>"

Apri Settings → Developer → Edit Config e aggiungi:
claude_desktop_config.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "wandb": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "mcp-remote",
        "https://mcp.withwandb.com/mcp",
        "--header",
        "Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY>"
      ]
    }
  }
}

Cursor

Oppure aggiungilo a mano in ~/.cursor/mcp.json (tutti i progetti) o in .cursor/mcp.json (questo progetto):

mcp.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "wandb": {
      "url": "https://mcp.withwandb.com/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY>"
      }
    }
  }
}

VS Code

Aggiungilo a .vscode/mcp.json. VS Code chiede la chiave la prima volta e la conserva in modo sicuro:

.vscode/mcp.json
{
  "servers": {
    "wandb": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.withwandb.com/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer ${input:api-key}"
      }
    }
  },
  "inputs": [
    {
      "type": "promptString",
      "id": "api-key",
      "description": "API key",
      "password": true
    }
  ]
}

Devin Desktop

  1. Aggiungilo a ~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json (macOS e Linux) o a %APPDATA%\devin\mcp_config.json (Windows):
mcp_config.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "wandb": {
      "serverUrl": "https://mcp.withwandb.com/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY>"
      }
    }
  }
}

Codex

codex mcp add wandb --url https://mcp.withwandb.com/mcp --bearer-token-env-var WANDB_API_KEY

Oppure modifica direttamente ~/.codex/config.toml:

config.toml
[mcp_servers.wandb]
url = "https://mcp.withwandb.com/mcp"
bearer_token_env_var = "WANDB_API_KEY"

Gemini CLI

gemini mcp add --transport http --header "Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY>" wandb https://mcp.withwandb.com/mcp

Così lo aggiungi al progetto corrente. Aggiungi -s user per usarlo ovunque.

Qualsiasi client

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "wandb": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.withwandb.com/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY>"
      }
    }
  }
}

Zed mette i server sotto context_servers nelle sue impostazioni.

Remoto. Lo ospita Weights & Biases (CoreWeave) a https://mcp.withwandb.com/mcp, e usa Streamable HTTP. Non c’è nulla da installare.

Quali client possono usarlo?
