Descrizione

Connects to the Porkbun v3 API. You can check domain availability and pricing, register, renew and transfer domains, edit DNS and DNSSEC records, fetch free SSL bundles, set nameservers and contacts, and provision and deploy static hosting or Cloud for WordPress. It also covers billing tools such as balance, invoices and account top-ups, plus API documentation search.

Runs as a hosted endpoint at https://mcp.porkbun.com/mcp with Porkbun sign-in through OAuth, so no API key is needed. A local alternative runs with npx -y @porkbunllc/mcp-server using PORKBUN_API_KEY and PORKBUN_SECRET_API_KEY. Documentation tools work without keys, and a free sandbox key is available for testing. Several tools spend account credit.

Configurazione

claude mcp add --transport http porkbun https://mcp.porkbun.com/mcp
  1. Avvia Claude Code, digita /mcp, scegli porkbun e seleziona Authenticate.

Claude Desktop

  1. Apri Settings → Connectors e fai clic su Add custom connector.
  2. Chiamalo Porkbun e incolla questo URL:
https://mcp.porkbun.com/mcp

Cursor

Oppure aggiungilo a mano in ~/.cursor/mcp.json (tutti i progetti) o in .cursor/mcp.json (questo progetto):

mcp.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "porkbun": {
      "url": "https://mcp.porkbun.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Cursor mostra Needs login accanto al server. Fai clic per accedere.

VS Code

Oppure da un terminale:

code --add-mcp '{"name":"porkbun","type":"http","url":"https://mcp.porkbun.com/mcp"}'

Oppure fai commit nel repository in .vscode/mcp.json:

.vscode/mcp.json
{
  "servers": {
    "porkbun": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.porkbun.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Devin Desktop

  1. Aggiungilo a ~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json (macOS e Linux) o a %APPDATA%\devin\mcp_config.json (Windows):
mcp_config.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "porkbun": {
      "serverUrl": "https://mcp.porkbun.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Codex

codex mcp add porkbun --url https://mcp.porkbun.com/mcp
codex mcp login porkbun

Oppure modifica direttamente ~/.codex/config.toml:

config.toml
[mcp_servers.porkbun]
url = "https://mcp.porkbun.com/mcp"

Gemini CLI

gemini mcp add --transport http porkbun https://mcp.porkbun.com/mcp

Poi, dentro Gemini CLI, esegui /mcp auth porkbun per accedere.

Così lo aggiungi al progetto corrente. Aggiungi -s user per usarlo ovunque.

Qualsiasi client

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "porkbun": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.porkbun.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Zed mette i server sotto context_servers nelle sue impostazioni.

Remoto. Lo ospita Porkbun a https://mcp.porkbun.com/mcp, e usa Streamable HTTP. Non c’è nulla da installare.

Cosa può fare Porkbun?

Ha 107 tool, tra cui ping, check_domain e check_domains. Puoi check domain availability and pricing, singly or up to 25 at once, register, renew and transfer domains e create, update, delete and restore DNS records.

Quali client possono usarlo?
