What to include
The Digital Services Act (art. 16) asks for these four things, and they help with every kind of report:
- The exact address of each listing, such as
https://mcp.tc/i/mnemoverse-memory. - A clear explanation of the problem and, for illegal content, why you think it’s illegal.
- Your name and email address. You can leave your name out only when reporting content linked to child sexual abuse.
- A statement that you believe the report is accurate and complete and that you’re sending it in good faith.
For a trademark complaint, also name the mark, where it’s registered and who owns it. If you run the server and want its listing changed or removed, show it’s yours: write from an address at the vendor’s domain, or point us to a file or commit in the repository that mentions mcp.tc.
What happens next
We confirm that the report arrived, and a person reads every report; none are decided automatically. If a server looks malicious or compromised, we hide the listing first and look into it after. Otherwise we decide as quickly as we can, tell you the outcome and the reason, and explain how to ask us to look again. The person behind the listing gets a statement of reasons when we can reach them. The terms describe the process.
