Über den Server

Connects an assistant to Google Cloud Logging so it can search log entries with filters, list the log names in a project, and inspect log buckets and log views. All six tools are read-only, which suits debugging, finding error messages and auditing events.

It runs as a hosted remote endpoint over streamable HTTP at logging.googleapis.com/mcp. Access uses Google OAuth 2.0 and IAM permissions on the project, and the MCP endpoint must be enabled for the project first. Log entry searches work against one resource project at a time.

Was du damit machen kannst

  • Search log entries using filters on severity, resource type and text
  • List the log names available in a project
  • Get and list log buckets
  • Get and list log views on a bucket
  • Page through results with page size and tokens
  • Read-only access to logging data

Tools 6

  • list_log_entriesNur lesen

    Search and retrieve log entries using a filter, ordering and paging for one project.

  • list_log_namesNur lesen

    List the log names in a project that have log entries.

  • get_bucketNur lesen

    Get a specific log bucket by name.

  • list_bucketsNur lesen

    List the log buckets in a Google Cloud project.

  • get_viewNur lesen

    Get a specific log view on a log bucket.

  • list_viewsNur lesen

    List the log views in a given log bucket.

Am 3. Okt. 2026 vom laufenden Server gelesen.

Beispiel-Prompts

  • Find ERROR log entries from the last hour in project my-prod-project

  • List the log names available in my-prod-project

  • Show all log buckets in my-prod-project

  • List the views on the _Default log bucket

Einrichtung

claude mcp add --transport http google-cloud-logging https://logging.googleapis.com/mcp

https://logging.googleapis.com/mcp

mcp.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "google-cloud-logging": {
      "url": "https://logging.googleapis.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Cursor zeigt neben dem Server Needs login. Klick darauf, um dich anzumelden.

VS Code

Oder aus einem Terminal:

code --add-mcp '{"name":"google-cloud-logging","type":"http","url":"https://logging.googleapis.com/mcp"}'

Oder committe ihn ins Repository in .vscode/mcp.json:

.vscode/mcp.json
{
  "servers": {
    "google-cloud-logging": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://logging.googleapis.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

mcp_config.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "google-cloud-logging": {
      "serverUrl": "https://logging.googleapis.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Codex

codex mcp add google-cloud-logging --url https://logging.googleapis.com/mcp
codex mcp login google-cloud-logging

Oder bearbeite ~/.codex/config.toml direkt:

config.toml
[mcp_servers.google-cloud-logging]
url = "https://logging.googleapis.com/mcp"

Gemini CLI

gemini mcp add --transport http google-cloud-logging https://logging.googleapis.com/mcp

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "google-cloud-logging": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://logging.googleapis.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Was kann Google Cloud Logging?

Er hat 6 Tools, darunter list_log_entries, list_log_names und get_bucket. Du kannst damit: Search log entries using filters on severity, resource type and text, List the log names available in a project und Get and list log buckets.
